When ordering a custom glass hearth is important to know the regulations of wood burning stove. We have a guide that shows all the detail so you don’t need to worry about what is right or wrong. Two of the most important points are that the hearth has to be a minimum of 12mm. So the glass hearth can be 12.8mm, for example. The second point is that the total area covered must be at least 840mm x 840mm.<\/p>\n

There is no data for a weight limit which means its unmeasured. Toughened glass is only tested for impact. However, a standard 12mm toughened glass\u00a0hearth\u00a0resting flat on the floor can take any\u00a0weight.<\/p>\n
