By using and browsing the website, this tells us that you can willingly accept the Terms of Use in full. If you wish not to accept the Terms of Use, please don’t use this website.

This notice is issued by Me and My Glass.

Before you order from our website please take the time to read these Terms. Please make sure you understand them before purchasing and ordering from our store. You have to agree to our terms before a purchase has been made. In the event that you do not accept and agree our terms you won’t be able to purchase from us. Ordering and placing an order means that you agree with these terms and conditions.

Please ensure that the items and goods you are purchasing are suitable and ideal for the use they are intended. We can advise you on which items are suitable for your needs however we can’t be held responsible if the information given to us by customers is not accurate.

All goods remain the property of Me and My Glass until paid in full. If a customer fails to pay for the goods after receiving reasonable notice. we shall take legal proceedings to recover the goods and or their value.

All images and sizes on our website are provided in good faith and show approximate sizes and measurements. As specifications can change, it is important that you check if sizes are critical to your installation.

Our terms and conditions apply to your service or product order. From time to time we may amend and change our terms and conditions. Do not think or assume that future orders you make will have the same terms and conditions as previous orders.

We have the right to refuse the supply of our goods and items purchased/ordered by you at our discretion. We don’t have to supply a reason. We can refuse to deliver the goods ordered to any particular postcodes which would incur significant additional cost or risk.

On receipt of your order we may find the price quoted for the goods has changed. If this happens we will inform you of the new price and ask if you would still like to proceed with your order. If you are not prepared to accept any further charges then we will refund all monies paid by you and terminate the contract with no further liability to either party.

All responsibility for the glass/mirror is passed on as soon as it leaves our factory for delivery.

PROCESSING FAULTS – Any processing faults will be the responsibility of Me and My Glass. If outside of tolerance, the item will be replaced at our cost. This includes issues such as sizing, incorrect products, edge work, etc. These are clearly part of the manufacturing process and not something the customer could be responsible for.

SCRATCHES – We have a quality control process in place for checking the glass at the packaging stage. We appreciate that some items may fall through the net due to human error, but in theory, we are not in the business of sending out damaged glass. It would be a waste of our time and resources. It’s difficult to prove that the customer has not scratched the panel after opening the parcel, or that a builder didn’t pick it up two days later and scratch it while installing it for the homeowner, only for them to say, “It was scratched when I took it out of the box.” It’s hard to determine responsibility for this, whether genuine or not. Deliveries must be checked within 48 hours of receipt. If faults are not reported within this window, we will take no responsibility.

DAMAGE & BREAKAGES – If an item is broken in transit, we are normally notified, and the delivery is cancelled and returned to us. Again, this does not fall under our responsibility once it leaves our premises. Delivery companies will not accept liability for these items if damaged in their control. Even if the item is accidentally broken, they will not accept liability, particularly with it being glass.

Glass is a consumable product and as such do not have a guarantee / warranty regardless of age.

In some situations and not under our control, we may have to add delivery costs and charges that weren’t quoted at the time you purchased and ordered your goods. This will be on very rare occasions and it’s not charges we want to make. These are charges created by the courier. If this does happen we will contact and inform you about the situation and ask if you want to pay the additional charge or cancel the order altogether. In our experience this only happens in Islands and Highlands of Scotland (not in all cases).

In order to prevent unauthorised access to the data, which you have provided to us, we follow strict security procedures in the storage and disclosure of information. From time to time industry regulators and our auditors may require us to disclose some or all of the information for legal or regulatory purposes.

Our main aim at Me and My Glass, is to provide you with an excellent shopping experience at every stage of your purchase. Whether it is before purchase or after, we’ll do our best to make you happy.

When placing an order with us, you are making an offer to buy goods. We will send you an e-mail to confirm that we have received your order. Once we have checked the price and availability of goods, your order will be accepted.

In the unlikely event that the goods are no longer available, or that we have made a pricing mistake, we will advise you of this. You will not receive a shipping email from us and your order will not have been accepted, and there will be no contract between us.

At this stage, should we have any further questions about your order, we will make contact with you by email.  We advise that you check your email everyday during the order process to prevent any delay in receiving your goods.

All items ordered online should normally be in stock, or in the case of items cut to order, we would normally be able to produce these immediately. If however your items are not available, we will inform you, and give the option of a full refund.

When your material has been cut, we cannot provide a refund. This is because the product is cut to your size and shape. If you want to change your order or cancel, please contact us immediately. In cases we may have cut the material and a full refund may not be available. You have 24 hours to cancel the order. Once passed this time, we cannot refund due it being a custom service. For non-custom orders this doesn’t apply and we can provide a full if you would like to cancel. Non-custom products can also be returned and fully refunded when we receive the goods back in the condition they were sent out in. If it’s before the 24 hours and you want to cancel and refund, we provide a refund charge of £2 or the Stripe fee take from our account.

If there is an error in cutting and it isn’t the shape or size you are wanting, we would need photo evidence of this. It has to show clearly the the glass is 3mm over or under. If there is an error we will provide a replacement. We don’t provide refunds we will replace the glass/mirror.

We endeavour to ensure delivery of your purchase within the stated delivery time of cleared payment being received, however on rare occasions there may be a delay in delivery times due to third party couriers or other events such as manufacturing backlogs. For Highlands and Islands and overseas delivery may take slightly longer. Your items will be fully insured against loss or damage in transit until the point of delivery. Please see each product page that indicates the delivery / lead time. These lead times maybe longer. 6 months lead times can happen in glass/mirror production. Our lead times aren’t guaranteed.

Once you have purchased a product from us we aim to create and dispatch your item as efficiently and effectively as possible. We want your goods to be with you as quickly as possible. As most of our services are custom cut orders it takes longer to create. Our delivery area is all of the UK mainland and some countries in Europe and North America.

On rare occasions there might be a small charge added by the courier. This is likely to occur when locations are hard to get too and remote areas. This will be shown in the checkout stage of your purchase. We only charge you when we receive the additional charge.

Some of the remote postcode areas are these postcodes: ZE, BT, IM, AB, DG, EH, FK, G, KA, KY, ML, IV, KW, PA, PO30-PO31 and PH. The delivery price will be on the checkout area of our website.

Due to constant change in the wholesale prices of goods, we reserve the right to amend our prices without prior notification.  Should this affect any order you have placed, we will of course contact you to discuss your order.

Our courier will deliver the goods direct to your door, and sometimes will require a signature from the person accepting the delivery. We can not claim for any damage to the goods caused by the courier if you sign for them as “received in good condition”, which is standard on most courier’s delivery notes. If you notice any sign of damage at all (even to the box), have concerns, or the courier refuses to let you check the goods, please mark the delivery note as “box damaged” at the time of signing.

When the package goods have been delivered please check that the goods have arrived safely. If you sign for the package and you did not check the package this will not cover you for insurance purposes. So you need to check before you sign. In the event that the delivery driver can’t / will not wait, sign for the parcel as damaged.

Our goods and items are delivered by a third party. The courier will provide kerb to kerb delivery service. Depending on the size of your package you may want someone to help you carry inside. The courier could do this but it is not part of the contract.

As soon as the goods have been despatched, the responsibility for the delivery cost will be yours.
